SEMO ESPN 1220 & 93.5 will unveil a powerful new weekday lineup beginning Monday, Aug. 17, featuring signature, multi-platform personalities, all of whom either currently work on or previously hosted shows on ESPN Radio!
Monday – Friday 5:00am to 9:00am
The schedule begins with the premiere of ESPN Radio’s new morning show, Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin! NFL Live analyst and Super Bowl Champion Keyshawn Johnson will co-host, alongside NBA and college basketball analyst Jay Williams and SportsCenter anchor Zubin Mehenti. The trio will discuss the morning’s top stories and overnight developments with their own perspective and analysis. Johnson – who has headlined a morning show for 710AM ESPN in Los Angeles since 2016 – will regularly appear on Get Up and First Take. Williams – who is regularly heard as a guest across ESPN Radio’s studio show lineup – will continue his role on NBA Countdown and appear across the network’s TV studio programming. Mehenti has been a consistent weekend voice on ESPN Radio in recent months and will also continue to host select editions of SportsCenter going forward.

Weekdays at 9:00am on SEMO ESPN 1220 & 93.5, Erik Sean and Jess Bolen bring everyone up-to-date on the latest news from the world of sports, including Southeast Missouri State athletics, The Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues and more! They’re always talkin’ about hot topics and they take your phone calls, emails and Tweets. It’s the Sports Huddle weekdays at 9 on SEMO ESPN 1220 & 93.5FM!

Dan Le Batard and Stugotz bring their unique blend of self-deprecating humor, insightful guests and thoughtful conversation to the SEMO ESPN audience from Miami Beach’s Clevelander Hotel. Rotating guest co-hosts, including Miami Herald writer Greg Cote, provide listeners with a different experience each day.

Host of ESPN’s morning show Get Up, Mike Greenberg makes his highly anticipated return to ESPN Radio. The show will regularly feature his unique take on many of the trending topics from that morning’s Get Up. Greenberg previously co-hosted Mike & Mike for almost two decades and was inducted in to the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2018.

Featured commentator on ESPN’s marquee morning debate show First Take and host of Max on Boxing, Max Kellerman will make his national ESPN Radio debut with The Max Kellerman Show from 2-4 p.m. Kellerman will regularly expand on the most-timely debates from that day’s edition of First Take from his point of view, further discussions on the latest boxing news and much more. Kellerman previously hosted shows for ESPN Radio in both the Los Angeles and New York markets.

Each weekday afternoon on SEMO ESPN, former NFL Pro Bowl running back, Tiki Barber and radio and TV personality, Brandon Tierney tackle and analyze the day’s top stories and interview the biggest names in sports.

Two-time WNBA All-Star Chiney Ogwumike will be joined by ESPN Radio’s Mike Golic Jr. from 4-7 p.m. for Chiney and Golic Jr. The duo – who regularly contribute to ESPN’s digital shows surrounding major events and the network’s additional studio programming – will engage with fans while discussing topics of the day and looking ahead at the night’s events. Ogwumike will also regularly appear on SportsCenter, Get Up, First Take, WNBA and NBA programming and provide analysis for men’s college basketball.

Award-winning writer for espnW and ESPN Radio host Sarah Spain – who also appears on the network’s Highly Questionable and Around the Horn – will be reunited with former co-host Jason Fitz – who will also continue as a leading commentator for ESPN’s digital shows and special event programming. Spain and Fitz – which the duo previously hosted together from January 2018-May 2019 – will pick up where it left off, entertaining listeners with insightful conversation on the day’s trending topics and under-the-radar stories
Monday – Friday 8:00pm to Midnight
The weekday lineup culminates with Freddie and Fitzsimmons, led by veteran radio host Freddie Coleman and football sideline reporter and analyst Ian Fitzsimmons. Coleman and Fitzsimmons take fans inside the sports news and events of the day with inviting conversation, strong opinions and reactions as that night’s events unfold.

It’s our 12 hour effort to collect warm clothing for children and families in need! 6 am – 6pm on November 2nd we’ll be broadcasting live from Southeast HealthPoint Fitness in Cape – collecting your donations of warm winter gear for those who need it in our community.
Any donations made before November 2nd can be dropped off in the Coats for Kids boxes at Southeast HealthPoint Fitness in Cape and Jackson!
The 2018 Grace Reliant Heartland Idol contest is back! You have a chance to be crowned the winner and take home $1000 and a professional recording session!
We’re giving you two opportunities to tryout!
Your first chance is on Saturday, July 14th at the Osage Center in Cape starting at 10 am.
If you can’t make it that weekend don’t worry! We’ll host another round of auditions at Sikeston River Radio on Saturday, July 21st at 10 am.
Please keep in mind contestants may only audition at ONE of the two locations.

It’s that time of year again, time for the 2017 Grace Reliant Heartland Idol presented by Dreyer Electric!
This year we will be hosting two open auditions, July 15th at 10 am at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau and July 22nd at 10 am at Sikeston River Radio.
Semi-finalists from both locations will be posted online, July 24th, and announced on air.
Semi-finals will take place on August 17th at 7 pm at the Pulaski County Fair, August 24th at 6 pm at Port Cape and September 2nd at Benton Neighbor Days. **You must be available for any of these three times** Leading up to the finals at the SEMO District Fair on September 11th.
The Grand Prize winner will receive $1,000 and a recording session with the Brothers Walker from The Voice!
Those that audition must be 14 years of age or older as of July 15th. Included is a full copy of the 2017 Heartland Idol Contest Rules.
